The Stables at Belchamp Hall is a characterful romantic retreat enjoying a peaceful position with lovely views of the landscaped gardens, grazing sheep and a tennis court. The Stables are a well appointed holiday home adjoining our other accommodation The Coach House. It has been stylishly converted to retain many of its original features and furnished to a high standard.
The Stables are ideally situated for visiting the local historical and picturesque towns and villages of Suffolk and Essex. Nearby villages include Lavenham, Long Melford and Clare. Also within easy reach are Sudbury - the home of the artist Gainsborough, Bury St Edmunds, Colchester - the oldest recorded town in Britain, and Newmarket for a day at the races or a visit to the National Horse Racing Museum.
The stables converted and furnished to a high standard, for up to four people offers a unique and spacious detached first floor accommodation. Large open plan beamed living/dining room with sofa bed and kitchen area. Double bedroom with 6ft bed, bathroom and separate cloakroom.
