Weddings - Belchamp Hall as a wedding venue

At Belchamp Hall we offer traditional elegance for the perfect English country wedding.

The house was built in 1720 in the Queen Anne style. The house is dignified, not grandiose, and it settles comfortably into its surroundings of mature hedged gardens, manicured lawns and tall trees.

Facing south-east, the driveway from the house leads directly to the ancient 14th century brick and flint parish church of St Mary with its famous medieval wall paintings. Being just a short distance from the parish church, the house is an ideal venue for weddings and wedding receptions.

The ceremony

St Mary's Church - this beautiful church is situated opposite Belchamp Hall and welcomes couples that wish to have a religious ceremony.

Wedding reception

A marquee on the lawn offers the quintessential English country wedding with Belchamp Hall as the perfect back drop. We can accommodate up to 500 guests for a marquee reception making us an ideal wedding venue.

Bridal Suite

For the Bride & Groom end your wedding day in the perfect way by staying in our beautiful bridal suite, situated in the grounds of Belchamp Hall.
